These Terms and Conditions of Use ("the Terms") govern your access to and use of our web service (https://whitebook.world/) and the Whitebook App (collectively, "whitebook service").

Use of the Service and Accessibility to the Service

The Service is available and intended for users who are at least 18 years old. The Service and any data/material/content on them, unless otherwise stated, are intended to promote and market our products and services.

We retain the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, to alter, restrict, or discontinue the Service or any service, material, feature, or product and services provided via the Service at any time, for any reason, with or without intimation. You agree that we will not be liable to you in the event that the Service, or any service, material, feature, or product and service provided through the Service, are modified, suspended, or withdrawn.

YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE REPRESENTS YOUR AGREEMENT TO ABIDE BY THE TERMS. WE EXPRESSLY RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MODIFY THE TERMS AT ANY TIME AND WITHOUT NOTICE BY UPLOADING AN UPDATED VERSION OF THE TERMS ON THE SERVICE. AS A RESULT, YOU SHOULD REVIEW THE TERMS EACH TIME YOU USE THE SERVICE. YOUR CONTINUED USE OF THE SERVICE REPRESENTS YOUR AGREEMENT TO THE PRESENT TERMS POSTED AT THE TIME OF YOUR VISIT.

Prohibited Uses on our Service

You are not permitted to use the Service for any illegal purpose or in breach of any term of applicable national, state, or local laws or these Terms.

Users may not:

Post or upload anything that is obscene, derogatory, or libelous, constitutes an unlawful threat, violates privacy or publicity rights, or infringes on the intellectual property rights of any third party

Utilize any tool, software, or other equipment to interfere with, or try to interfere with, the correct operation of our Service.

Take any activity that places an unnecessary or disproportionately high burden on our infrastructure.

Introduce any dangerous or technologically destructive viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other malware.

Attempt to generate unauthorized access to, tamper with, damage, or interrupt any element of the Service, the server(s) on which the Service is hosted or managed, or any network, device, or database linked to the Service.

Use a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack to target the Service.

Use any robot, spider, or other automated device, technique, or means to access the Service for any reason, including monitoring or duplicating any of the Service' content.

If we are alerted to allegedly defamatory, harmful, unlawful, or offensive content uploaded or given by a user, we may examine the accusation and decide whether to edit or delete such content from the Service at our sole discretion.

If we find, in our sole and absolute discretion, that you have violated any provision of these Terms or any applicable law, we may cancel, limit, or alter all or part of your access, availability times, and needed equipment and software for use of the Service at any time.

We may disclose any content or electronic communication from you in the following circumstances: I to comply with any law, regulation, or government request; (ii) if such revelation is appropriate and necessary to operate the Service; or (iii) to defend our rights or property or the rights of our consumers, other Site users, or third-party service providers.

Tear & Win Challenge – Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

Open to all customers residing in India who are 18 years or older. Participants below 18 must have consent from a parent or legal guardian.

Participation Rules

Each participant receives one sample “Tear & Win” strip.

The strip must be torn only by only bare hands. The use of tools, nails, scissors, teeth, sharp objects, or any external assistance is strictly prohibited.

The video must clearly show the participant, the strip, and the tearing attempt without edits, cuts, or filters.

A video of the attempt must be recorded and submitted by tagging @whitebook.world on Instagram or through other official channels as specified.

The participant must retain the original strip and may be requested for verification.

Rewards

Participants who successfully tear the strip entirely by hand will receive a free Whitebook (Size 8×8 inches, 20 pages).

Participants who attempt but cannot tear the strip will receive a discount code of ₹500 valid on their next Whitebook order.

Rewards are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Free Whitebooks under this challenge cannot be clubbed with any other offers, discounts, or promotions.

Discount codes and free Whitebook offers must be redeemed within 30 days of issue.

Verification & Disqualification

Whitebook reserves the right to verify entries. This may include requesting the original strip, additional video proof, or a live demonstration.

Any strip found tampered with, pre-cut, damaged, or manipulated will lead to disqualification.

Whitebook reserves the right to reject any entry deemed fraudulent, unclear, or non-compliant with these rules.

Liability

Participation is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk. Whitebook shall not be held responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses arising during participation in the challenge.

Whitebook’s decision regarding eligibility, verification, and rewards will be final and binding.

General Terms

Whitebook may amend, suspend, or terminate the Tear & Win Challenge without prior notice.

By participating, customers agree to allow Whitebook to use their submitted videos and photos for promotional purposes across digital and print platforms without additional compensation.

The decision of Whitebook shall be final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained.

All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Intellectual Property Rights

Whitebook or its affiliates or third-party licensors own all names, titles, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans. Such marks may not be used without our prior written authorization.

We or our affiliates or licensors control the Service and any items accessed via or on the Service, including but not limited to the text, information, software, pictures, videos, logos, design, and graphics (collectively, the "Materials"). Copyright, trademark, proprietary information, and other intellectual property laws and treaties protect the Materials. The Terms allow you to use the Service for personal purposes solely.

You may not:

Without our prior written approval, distribute, sell, transmit, copy, upload, download, post, publish, display, perform, alter, or otherwise make an infringing copy from any of the Materials.

Decompile, reprogram, or disassemble programme code or software components; or

Erase any copyright or proprietary notices from the Materials. Any use of the Service that is not specifically authorized by these Terms is a violation of these Terms and may also violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.

User Reviews and Other Contributions

The Service may include product reviews, comment boards, message boards, chat rooms, forums, bulletin boards, and other interactive interface that enables users to upload, submit, publish, display, or transfer content or materials (collectively, "User Contributions") to other users or other persons on or through the Service. All User Contributions must adhere to the Content Standards outlined in these Terms (below).

By uploading or submitting a User Contribution, you represent and warrant that:

You are at least 18 years old.

Your User Contribution is in accordance with these Terms, including the Content Standards outlined below.

You are the sole creator and owner of any content you put in a User Contribution, including any intellectual property rights in such contet.

A third party is not compensating you or providing you with any compensation for your User Contribution.

You understand and agree that you are solely responsible for any User Contributions that you publish, submit, or contribute, and that you, not us, bear complete responsibility for such material, including its legality, dependability, accuracy, and appropriateness.

We have the authority to:

Remove or reject to post any User Contributions for any or no reason; in our absolute discretion

Take any action with regard to any User Contribution that we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate;

Inform any third party who alleges that content submitted by you breaches their rights, including intellectual property rights or the right to privacy, of your identity or other information about you.

Take necessary legal action, including reporting any suspected unlawful or unauthorized use of the Service to law enforcement;

Terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the Service, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms.

Without restricting the generality of the above, we reserve the right to fully cooperate with any law enforcement authority or court order asking or directing us to divulge the identity or other information of anyone posting any content on or via the Service.

We do not guarantee that all User Contributions will be reviewed before they are posted on the Service. As a result, we accept no liability or responsibility for transmissions, conversations, or material provided by any user or third party.

You agree to indemnify and hold us (and our officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, employees, and third-party service providers) harmless from any and all claims, requests, and damages of any kind and nature, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of a breach of your representations and warranties set forth above or your infringement of any law or the rights of a third party in relation with your User Contribution.

Content Standards

These content guidelines apply to all User Contributions. User Contributions must adhere to all national, state, and local laws and regulations. Without limiting the generality of the preceding, User Contributions shall not:

Give the illusion that they are from us or that we have supported them;

Impersonate another person or organization, or falsify your identity or association with another person or organization;

Contain defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, threatening, insulting, harassing, violent, hateful, or inflammatory content;

Encourage the promotion of sexually explicit or pornographic content, violence, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, handicap, sexual orientation, or age;

Infringe on any other person's patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, right of privacy, or any intellectual property or other rights;

Contain material that is untrue, inaccurate, deceptive, or likely to mislead anybody;

Encourage any criminal activity, or advocate, promote, or aid in the commission of any unlawful conduct; or

Involve commercial activities or sales, such as competitions, sweepstakes, and other sales promotions, barter, or marketing.

Include any addresses, email addresses, or phone numbers.

Contain any computer viruses, worms, or other potentially harmful computer programs or data.

Linking to the Service and Social Media Features

You may link to our Service as long as you do so in a fair and legal manner that does not harm or exploit our reputation, but you must not establish a connection in such a way that suggests any type of affiliation, approval, or sponsorship by us.

The Service may have social media features that allow users to:

Link to certain material on the Service from your own or certain third-party webService;

Cause some elements of the Service' content to be shown or seem to be presented on your own or third-party webService.

You may use these features only in the manner in which they are offered by us and in accordance with any additional terms and conditions we provide with regard to such features. You are not permitted to:

Class Action Waiver

YOU AND WE AGREE THAT, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR OUR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. No tribunal may consolidate more than one person's claims or proceedings or preside over any sort of representative or class proceeding unless both you and we agree.
